For you and your pet to join Paws For Friendship, Inc: Your pet must meet these BASIC requirements to be considered for Membership: Be sociable with other pets  Obedient and calm mannered  Enjoys being around people of all ages and all situations, wheel chairs, walkers, etc. Be current on all vaccinations  Be able to pass our evaluation on all aspects You must meet these requirements: Be willing to make at least one visit per month  Be willing to help with fundraisers, especially our annual events  Abide by our Rules and Guidelines(click here for details) Basics from the AKC Good Citizen Test (CGC) are used to evaluate If you have not made a visit anywhere for 4 mths you will be placed on an 'inactive list' If you have not made a visit anywhere for 6 months you will no longer be a Member. We will arrange to have your pet evaluated, once we receive your application materials. If your pet passes the evaluation, there will be a $40 annual Membership fee to become a Member.  If you use PayPal to pay your annual Membership fee, you will need to add an addtional $2.00.  This is to cover the charge Paypal passes on to us for this convenience. If you do not add the additional $2.00 your paperwork will be delayed until this amount is paid. Please remember we are a non-profit and we try to keep costs to the bare basics and this convenience does cost to have, thank you for your understanding .  You'll receive your Membership items once all paperwork has been completed. Thank you    * Please note: there is a 3 month wait for your Pet's service vest. This has been done to make sure everyone understands the 1 visit per month commitment to visiting those in need. The visits are critical, so many people are depending on you to brighten their day with your Pet. Unfortunately we have found out many join and are not commited to making the visits.
